Great with People:
I am strong at “enrollment” – in working with people in an enthusiastic and positive way, caring about and attuned to their concerns – with customers, and with my client, in getting what my client needs. I excel in dealing with people (vendors, agents, service reps, contractors, customers) in difficult situations, such as misunderstandings and breakdowns, without causing upsets or making waves, and leaving all parties satisfied.
Independent:
I am good at and enjoy taking on a project and getting it accomplished without micro-management.
Integrity:
I have learned the value of honoring my word – keeping my word or communicating otherwise ahead of time, including but not limited to being on time. I am reliable.
Event Planning and Execution:
I am skilled in Events Planning, from setting up contracts, including rate negotiations, to event day on-site setup and support, to completion and follow-up.
Travel Arrangements:
Besides being facile with the travel sites (airlines, hotel bookings, car rentals, frequent travel clubs), and having traveled myself a great deal, I am great at getting special results to happen, like room upgrades and special exceptions and the like. (Mostly because I treat the reps with respect and empathy.)
Technology:
Facile with the intricacies of PCs and iPhones and their accessories. Competent or better in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Windows and Vista, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. I can set up components like extra monitors, install programs, and order and set up new equipment (except Apple computers). I am very facile with Zoom and have set up and run Zoom meetings for two people to several hundred.
